So does that make 25 for bama? They were at 24 yesterday during the UA game.

With Hootie that will put Bama at 26. Going to have to start cutting some players.

If so, no room for Lorenzo Carter. That narrows his choices down to us and UGA.

I think he cooled on bama a while ago. Our staff is recruiting Evans harder than Carter. We won't get either one. I think he ends up staying home but lsu has a puncher's chance. Anytime a school makes the top 3 in January when they weren't on the radar in September you know they have a chance.

Lsu can sell the Mingo role and Georgia can sell the home state pitch and the Jarvis Jones pitch. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment plays out, he's one of the top 3 athletes in the class in my opinion.

yeah, I thought it was down to UGA with LSU nipping from behind. Bama pretty much out of it about 3 weeks ago maybe?

Probably a self-eval of numbers game by Carter.

I think realistically we've been out of it longer than that. For whatever reason both sides cooled on each other and at one time he was 95% crystal ball to bama. I think Carter has the most upside in this class out of anyone but I don't think he is a plug and play guy.

I think freshman/sophomore year he is inconsistent with flashes of greatness and junior year he's an animal. Of course, this is if he gets to school and works his arse off

I'm sure Bama will honor his recommitment, but makes you think what if Saban told him good luck elsewhere since your stiffed us already.

Yeah...Bama has to honor it due to the paperwork he signed. If he wanted to, he could commit to LSU and they'd have to honor the financial aid agreement.

Did Alabama not take 26 or 27 last year? How are they planning to back count from last year's class?

Nope. Said I'd say if he went elsewhere. He went back to Bama so not going to do so. Something happened on his visit.

Apparently LSU and Bama should've just recruited him without visits.

Basically if we didn't get another big time DB to commit, then he would of probably came to LSU. We are stacked in the secondary. I never seen a team ever with that much talent in the secondary.

Lol

He wasn't considering LSU.

I don't know a great deal about recruiting, but I thought it was odd he decommitted, then recommitted the night after Adams picked LSU.

After watching tape of them both, I'm convinced we got the better Safety.
