I heard they wouldn't even answer questions about Boo, earlier in the week?

Yeah posters were asking about his height and weight, and I answered them.

That shouldn't be the case, their job is to bring information on LSU. Sione was a primary option as the number two back. He should've been reported on much more than what they gave.

Here's Jimmy scouting report from October:

LINK /

Seems pretty glowing to me and does not discount the LSU possibility, though it noted that he might not be a scheme fit, given LSU's historic affinity for big backs.

What he wrote yesterday seems to say much the same stuff. The biggest difference is that LSU obviously has shifted the skills its looking for. So his reviews relative to playing for LSU have improved.

His skill set description is pretty much the same now what it was then, with the exception of the fact that Sione is now about 17 pounds bigger, which gets reflected in the review.

I don't think Jimmy's opinion changed much at all.

Frank told Boo before his Jr year that they wanted a change of pace back. Remember, Jahkari Gore was supposed to be this guy?

True. Now I guess it's going to be Magee, at least until Sione gets there.

But was Sione always that guy? If he was still 5-9, 190, would he get the offer?

He's had a hell of an off-season adding the weight while maintaining or maybe even improving the speed and quicks. I'm wondering if he was a take before Wednesday.

Dude really worked for his offer, that's for sure. He's cut up as hell.
