I just emailed DD and asked him about his guesses % being so optimistic on Randle and Cambell and others.
He just wrote back and said they he bases his opinion on insider information.
He said the Cambell communicates with Davenport often and has told Davenport on several occasions he will commit to LSU at the AA game..
He said that some things are in the works that favor LSU for Randle. (I have no idea what that means)
And he told me to tell all of you Merry Christmas!

It means they're trying to determine exactly how he wants his Escalade customized.

He went to the same HS as Joe Barksdale, and its scary how similar the two are, he was on the same team as Joe and his little brother (Stud for next year)

It would be huge, especially with the loss of JM. According to Campbell's own words they want him as a '3-tech' and not as an OL like many have said. Does not mean he won't end up over there, but they are recruiting him for D. He and DAVENPORT in the interior with the DE's we've already recrutied will bring another NC (with the right DC, that being Paul Rhoades)

Randy Shannon reported this afternoon that a high profile player knocked LSU and others out of consideration...OU and UM are finalists. Take it for what it's worth.

Dandy says he is talking directly to insiders and players that are committed, that is a pretty good source in Davenport if he has become friends with him...

Actually Luke, Rivals had an article today on Davenport. Davenport was quoted as saying he talked to Campbell. So maybe Dandy is on to something.

Either those people they call themselves fans are clueless and have nowhere near the passion we do here, or there is nothing to the story..
