Gary to Michigan is a done deal; Partridge is not going anywhere.

You are free to believe otherwise. Logically, it makes sense for you not to trust what I am saying with only two posts on the forum. What credibility do I have?! Nonetheless, I am telling you it is a done deal. Gary will suit up for Michigan next year.

I wish I could say how I know and it might seem like a cop out that I cannot. But Rashan and his mom are solidly committed to UM.

I will not contend that those sites are never right; but I also tend to think that they want to maintain high activity. Reality is, in most instances these players have made decisions and are just letting the process play out. What good is announcing early unless you are coming in as a mid-year? Heck, an early commitment can sometimes lead to a player being downgraded. I've seen 5 stars go to 4 stars; it is egregious.

Yea, he's locked up and just letting it play out. That's why he visited a school 20 hours away on his own dime 2 twice in 2 weeks then planned another he will pay for before taking his official to said school. He's just trying to keep his #1 ranking.

I don't doubt you've heard what you've heard. But LSU is in it. Bottom line

That means you are Rashan Gary. Is that what you are saying?

No, I am not saying I am Gary. I am saying I heard it from the horse's mouth rather than through secondhand speculation.

I'll believe you but he obviously is not solidly committed if he is still planning unofficial visits to a school 20 hours from home.

I heard "straight from the horses mouth" that Malik Newman was coming to LSU. In the end it didn't work out that way.

Good argument. Thing is, even an unofficial visit paid through your own dime is worth taking. There are still a lot of perks involved and high-profile players like Gary are still treated in such a way that it basically becomes a glorified official visit. Because you are limited on how many official visits you can make (cap is 5), unofficials become valuable. You still get complimentary tickets in special seating areas (face value on those tickets are $$$) and you are treated like royalty if you are a top recruit.

Here's the thing--I get the skepticism. If I am wrong, I have no issue admitting it. I will come back and eat crow Cajun style. Besides, I grew up a LSU fan so I would not be at all upset to see Gary in purple and gold. But I have info on a lot of the top recruits (honestly can't share how) and I thought I would pass it along after seeing this thread. Everyone is free to be skeptical/dismissive of it. I would be too and I would hope the person sharing the info was wrong if it involved a player I coveted.
