God, some of you people are so spoiled. I can't tell you how many times Nate Livings, Cameron Vaughn and Justin Vincent "committed" to LSU. Hell, Chad Lavalais couldn't qualify until he was over 24 or something.
Anyone remember Daniel Francis, Darryl Johnson, Deangelo Benton & Charles Deas? This isn't anything new.

I'm about 100% certain Cam Vaughn doesn't belong in that group. and given that the other guys you mention with Francis never made it to LSU, not sure he does either (and I don't recall him having to wait like JV did, but maybe he did).

Zach Lee was the only signee from that class to not make it in (MLB). Porter also didn't make it in THAT year but came on the year after.

How could I have forgotten about Zach Lee? Damn, I was praying he'd be on campus (for both sports).

each year is different. frankly, i think miles and co. have modified their stance a little since losing both lacy and sentimore. they seem to take a chance now when they feel it's worth it instead of the hard line. of course, i may be wrong because all of these guys are from out of state and that could make a difference.

Only one year we had everyone qualify. We rarely hit that 25 mark. Which is why i was pissed ab the espn shin dig on LSU oversigning. We dont.

Under Dinardo LSU lost 8 recruits to grade issues in one class. Dinardo had signed 30+ recruits but losing EIGHT had to be the LSU record.

Probably the year I was thinking about when the two top rated recruits didn't make their grades. I said one was from Illinois but that's wrong. He was from either Shreveport or Houston and tried a year later to go to Illinois. Seems like a relative was in coaching. The other guy was from Mississippi and his name was Benadryl Franklin.
