When LSU offered scholarship to Dylan Moses, people wondered about the process. It seemed like an outlier. Over the last year, there has been a spate of such offers to athletes all over the country.
Most recent one is from Kentucky
and in football no less.
People wondered about Les making the offer to Dylan Moses. They thought Dylan was a great player when Saban extended an offer. Do people even wonder when they hear about School X offering a scholarship to a player in grade Y? Or did schools miss out on offers to J Clowney and his ilk? UCLA USC
Will this impulse to offer phenoms at younger age be curbed by some rule that colleges can offer only to high-schoolers or that they have to be juniors or seniors?
