I am sure that Miles is telling the kid he will have a chance to compete and if he is ready he will get some playing time.

There is no chance that Miles is telling him he will start next year.

Well, after Lee, I don't think Miles recruits any more head cases like Perrilloux and I don't think he goes a year without at least one qb.

If its narrowed down to ND and LSU I wouldnt call it a long shot.

If he has any knowledge of the current QB situation, I doubt he comes to LSU seeing as how Jerrard Randall is only a true freshman. Any coach could present this situation to any pocket passing specialist and sway them from LSU. True Story.

What has Randall done to show you he can stop someone like Kiel from getting ahead of him?

Nothing.

It doesn't matter where he goes, he will run into True Freshman QBs everywhere.

not 100% but I'm pretty sure it was a jab at the Coaching staff for always supporting JJ over Lee.

Pretty sure he's projecting it out saying that Randall will play over all the pocket passers even though they're "better."

It's a stupid comment.

Well I don't think we ever had a shot at Kiel. but dammit if LSU didn't put their best foot forward today. Incredible weather, atmosphere, and game today. He got to witness everything that being an LSU tiger has to offer.

Im with you bro.

The problem is JJ wasnt a running qb coming out of high school. The staff turned him into one cus they were so afraid to turn it over.

People really need to research a lil more before they post dumb arse shite. Whoever plays next has nothing to do with our current qbs. Both of them will be gone, but guess what? they both have done what no qb has ever done at LSU. 12-0

Kiel was there on an unofficial. Hill, tony brown, and fournette were there also.

The little talked about thing is that Kiel runs the spread in HS. He's listed as a pro-style back, but he supposedly runs a 4.6-4.7 40. If we're committed to running a mixed offense with a combo of pro-style and spread option, then Kiel is probably the perfect QB for that. A real threat throwing the ball, but effective enough at running to keep the defense off balance.

It may be an unofficial but his parents are with him. He is not here just for a party weekend like some top recruits like to do. Anytime a recruits parents are in tow, it is a serious look.

Lee was a RS freshman.

Jefferson was a true freshman.

Both started that year I believe.

Both are doing quite well this year. Those hard lessons paid off.

That and a lot of experience on the OL:
2012:
Faulk(JR)-LT-- All SEC and future All American
Josh D.(SR)-I assume he gets a medical RS and regains his LG spot
P.Lonergan(SR)-C- big ALL SEC center
Josh Williford(JR)- RG-huh mauler
Hurst(SR)- All SEC RT and possible All American, and just a massive human being

Also, you gotta figure Evan Washington and Lael Collins will be heavily in the mix as well
