Bama should be worrying about their own problems with the NCAA.

Bunch of idiots...it's just a job...everyone knows someone that could get them a job...that's all they're doing, "if you come here we can get you a part time job if you want it"

Funny thing is that the guy has a quote from Bear Bryant, the most aggressive recruiter and the first coach who made a living out of paying/bribing players to come to Bama and the reason the NCAA came up with the regulations that they have.

They think every single college football program doesn't set up legal part time jobs for players ?

How the hell else are they gonna pay for all those tats?

There are more than a dozen employers in the Tuscaloosa area that do the same.

everybody cheats, everybody. not saying this was cheating. but you see more poor kids go to college with no $ and then end up driving an escalade with 24's on it. i remember something about julio jones leaving practice with one.

The article specifically says that no one talked to RR about the internship.. only that the job existed. It existed before RR, and will exist after his playing days are over.

Also, dmitch said on this forum that there was NO TALK of an intership for Reuben on that trip.

Does anyone here post on that BS board? Please tell them this. I couldn't bring myself to post on some stupid gump board, mainly because I think that their little "new recruit" vs "ALL SEC" vs "5 star prospect" crap seems EXTREMELY lame

Wow so according to them, student athletes aren't allowed to get jobs that set them up to pursue their desired career paths.

Some might but I wouldnt. It's just like when we had Telfort here and we showed him how he could take all of his core classes for pharmacy school. Take a recruit's interest and show him the same opportunities that any student in that major or college would have.

If he's interested in politics then there are internships available. It's nothing secret or mysterious or illegal about it. It's like momma said. The internship is there, anyone could apply.
