I hadn't heard any talk about him at all. Anyone know what is up with him?

We are at 22, right. Beckwith and Williams are the last two in-state guys. RSJ is another player we would definitely take. But I keep hearing that we take another tackle and a DB. What's the word?

Gilmore will be at the game Nov 3rd...if he is having any slight lean towards florida, it will quickly change the night of Nov 3rd....he knows what we produce as far as draft picks on the Dline along with all of the people leaving after this yr.

Yes, 22 currently. Avery Johnson and the 2 JUCO players count toward last year, if enroll by January and LSU is under the 85 scholarship limit, from my understanding. There are 2 players that may not make the class due to academics. 5 seems to be a safe # of what LSU has available. Gilmore is a top priority at DT and my glass is still half full. Bain is another DT of need. Beckwith and Williams would fill needs as well. Not sure if you meant Priest Willis for the DB or his buddy Goodman. RSJ or another big WR would be a great finishing touch.

2-3 current commits probably won't qualify academically. We already have a silent commit to replace one of those guys. Personally I hope we take both Gilmore and Bain. We will need 3 DT's this class bc we will lose Downs this year and Logan's and Freak next year. Logan could go this year. This position needs 3 guys now. Next year we can be picky and take 1-2 but not this year.
Herron, Neal and Patterson will be good but it wouldn't hurt to land 1 more. Williams probably won't qualify and if he does I think he is Miami bound. Who knows w Beckwith.

You're telling me a kid from UHigh can't qualify? Is this new news because I hadn't heard of it.

He is borderline with his grades and the one thing that may keep him from Miami is his grades.
