Guys I hope this isn't Germans but check out this article here. He claims LSU was "cool" but wasn't "Florida"... but besides that it's a promising read. What's yalls opinion?

“Coach just assured me that LSU was a place that I could not go wrong with, and when I look at things, that makes me pretty comfortable.”

Richardson to Florida makes no sense (other than him being from Florida). The only possibility that makes even less sense is Randle to Bama.

Exactly! Nothing against TR, he'll be great wherever he ends up... but anyone with the slightest of common sense would know that TR would never see the light of playing time when he'll be behind Rainey, Demps, AND Moody. Plus when TR took his official to Florida that's when they were having their championship ceremony and bash... TR said that was one reason he had a blast at UF. But the kid would never see playing time behind all that speed at Florida.

He thought Florida was awesome in part because they had their BCS championship trophy unveiling presentation or something like that right??? Thought I heard that.

That's what I meant by my above reply. I mean who wouldn't have a freakin blast at ANYONE's trophy presentation ceremony and celebration... Besides if the Gumps had one... but those days are long gone. So I guess my statement lies true.

I dont know man. I hope we land TR but I think hes gunna end up choosing Flordia. I mean its his home state and its only a few hours away from his home (he lives around Tampa if im not mistaken). Second, Percy Harvin declared for the draft so that really opens up a slot for him to play his FR year and make an impact. Here at LSU, he would have to compete with Charles Scott, Keiland Williams, Trindon Holiday, and the new HB's coming in. Bottom line, just dont be suprised if he doesnt commit to LSU; sorry to be a downer lol.

I'd definitely have to disagree with you on TR's competition. Percy would only affect a Andre Debose's playing time. TR would have Demps, Rainey, and Moody to fight for playing time. And those guys haven't been at UF long. While at LSU Trindon is only a special case athlete in certain packages... CS is our main back and then he's gone... and I could easily see him share time with Murphy. But with that said I agree that the chances of him going to LSU are still quite minimal. But TR is in a situation where no matter what school he goes to he'll have many backs infront of him. Bama has some talented young backs already which could lead to TR not seeing playing time till his SR year. Also, id choose Seastrunk over TR if you consider each back behind Shepard. Id want speed behind my speed QB not really power.

But come Saturday October 10th, TR will either be playing against Flordia's Defense or against our defense.

I hope he chooses Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium.
There is nothing like playing in TS on Friday Nights.

you do know everyone you mentioned is AT LEAST 1 year ahead of him right?

plus, if you are a talented ball carrier, it is arguable you'll get more touches in UF's offense right now more than anywhere else (except for maybe where houston nutt is coaching)

he may not start in 08, but saying he wouldn't get PT is absurd

Yes he's a USC transfer but everyone knows they won a NC without power. I don't mean the kid will never see a carry I just don't see him getting concrete spotlight play because of so many youngsters at both bama and UF. Would you not agree? It's just not their style of offense, never has been a power game. I just feel like LSU is more attractive for his style of play.

I think of all the schools, UF would be the one that seems less fitting for TR.

ya all of whom are gone in a year... what better situation than him to learn from three experienced backs for a year then take over? and become the next tandem with michael ford and ridley?

well, you used Moody as an example as a youngster and i certainly disagree with you there

as far as the amount of PT he would get, UF is a very good spot for him to go if he wants early touches, but not the best spot if he wants to somewhere to get the majority of touches

either way, i don't think Moody has anything to do with it, and even with rainey, demps and the addition of debose, there are plenty of snaps to go around for a freshman named Richardson

he would probably play more as a freshman at UF then he would at LSU
