1) EXTREMELY TOUGH
2) Not Happening
3) Best chance of top 3.
4) Blossoming relationship.
5) Not sure...
6) Not likely, will play senior year at Landry-Walker in New Orleans, eligibility issues for now.
7) 50/50 prolly... UNLV obviously in play with him at Findlay Prep now.
8) Unsure the mutual interest but MVA so clearly a chance.

I know of one that LSU is heavily recruiting but that is it.

LSU is also recruiting some others like DeJon Jarreau and Wayde Sims.

Upvote for you Thib, and thanks for posting. While I am a football recruiting junkie, I also love basketball info as well. So glad basketball is relevant again. Can't wait for Benny and Company this season!

Just Ben Simmons at that point but we knew the door was opening for Blakeney and Sampson was always a possibility.

This is the time of the year kids start committing. The next month or two will see a majority of players go off the board save the kids who rose late or wanna wait til 2nd signing period.

Simply adding in extra info, isn't ever 100% but insightful if you don't follow it well.

It was a genuine question. I didn't really follow basketball recruiting until recently, so I don't know what to expect or when things typically start to heat up. It seems like it is a lot more sporadic and that recruits are more influenced by other recruits.

Two interesting things about William McDowell white, one is he has an older brother that's also a D1 recruit and secondly Randy Livingston is his coach LINK

Removed Jonathan Isaac from the list he committed to FSU.

Removed Howard Washington from the list he committed to Butler.

Really thought we had a chance with Jonathan Isacc.

It looks like William McDowell-White is going to be a big time recruit here's his scouting report from draft express.
Strengths:
-Good size for a guard. Strong frame
-Terrific athlete
-Great first step and overall quickness
-Beats opponents off the dribble without a screen. A jet with the ball
-Very good in transition
-Solid ball-handler. Can play at different speeds. Plays quite a bit of pick and roll
-Creative and unselfish. Finds open man. Makes some very crisp passes, particularly in drive and dish situations
-Extremely competitive on defense. Terrific lateral quickness. Moves feet well and puts strong pressure on opponents. Can already defend 2-3 positions effectively. Gets in the passing lanes frequently. Among the tournament leaders in steals.
-Very good rebounder for a guard.
-Shows potential as a shooter. Ball comes out relatively smoothly at times. Made a number of shots with feet set in Crete. Not a non-shooter by any stretch.
-More than two years younger than many of the players at this tournament

Weaknesses:
-Unpolished offensively at this stage
-Struggles to finish effectively around the basket.
-Needs to do a better job of drawing and finishing through contact around the basket. Not very crafty with his finishes at this stage. Drives to the basket without a plan
-Very turnover prone. Wild with the ball. Makes questionable decisions.
-Shooting mechanics are not consistent. Sometimes shoots a slingshot jumper.

Outlook: Forced into significant action due to the large number of players who declined to play for Australia at this tournament. Handled himself very well despite playing up two years. Showed some great flashes of potential. Appears to have a substantial amount of upside left to tap into with his terrific size, athleticism and creativity with the ball. Looks like a hard worker and a good teammate. Likely on the NCAA track. Will get recruited at the highest levels of college basketball.
