Why do you hope anything? If he has the talent to play the edge and the coaches want him there and that is where he wants to be. He will. Quit trying to discourage our recruits with your nonsense. If he outgrows the edge position, common sense will be that he will move inside. If!

This. GWIII could play DE. His versatility makes him the best D line prospect in the country.

They run both depending on what scheme they use at the time. Lots of 3-4 teams have 4-3 packages and vice versa.

I was just agreeing with the article which pretty much says he's the perfect 3 technique.
