Fruhmorgen was at Florida recently for a visit...

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida had a surprise visitor on campus Saturday in Clemson offensive tackle transfer Jake Fruhmorgen.
The 2015 U.S. Army All-American from Tampa, Fla., considered UF during his recruiting process and made several visits to the school.
Saturday was his first time back on campus since 2013.
“It was good,” Fruhmorgen told SEC Country. “It’s kind of funny seeing familiar faces. But it was also cool seeing the new facilities like the indoor (practice field).”
Fruhmorgen met new Gators offensive line coach Brad Davis during his trip to UF.
“He’s great,” Fruhmorgen said. “Really enthusiastic. He’s very forward with you and very honest with you. He’s a good, smart guy, so I liked him a lot.”
Fruhmorgen also liked the Gators a lot as a high school recruit, but the instability surrounding former coach Will Muschamp hurt Florida’s chances.
“I always liked Florida,” Fruhmorgen said. “When I was getting recruited I kind of knew Coach Muschamp was on the hot seat, so I was always iffy about that.
“I didn’t want to make a decision too late in my recruiting process, so I kind of ruled them out in the end.”
But with Jim McElwain and new offensive coaches now at the helm, Fruhmorgen said UF is “more appealing.”
“They’re definitely successful,” Fruhmorgen said of the Gators. “Obviously Coach Mac has brought in a good coaching staff, good players. They’re doing well. I’ve always watched the Gators, even at Clemson.”
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound tackle started the first eight games of 2016 for the Tigers before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury, which he said is now fine.
Fruhmorgen transferred from Clemson in January and is considering Florida and LSU as of now. He’ll sit out the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules and has two years of eligibility remaining.
“It just wasn’t for me,” Fruhmorgen said of Clemson. “Sad to move on, but I’m just excited for the future. … I had two years of college football, so I know what I’m looking for. So I’m excited to just make the right decision this time.
“(It will come) sooner rather than later, but I don’t know yet. Just looking for a little more comfortability in a school. I know more people here (at Florida). It’s a little closer to home.”

LSUFord,
Do we have a shot?
Any timetable for a decision?
Most importantly, have you talked to him since his Florida visit?

I guess he has time to make his decision but someone like that who didn't commit on his LSU visit tells me he's not coming.

That just doesn't say a whole lot when you consider the SEC East!

While I agree McElwain is killing UF's talent pool and he ultimately wont make it there, they arent firing a two time SEC East champ the last two years anytime soon.
I think this year we start to see the real decline at UF with a lot of the talent leaving, but hey, it may STILL be enough to win the SEC East 1 more year. Vandy, Kentucky, Mizzou and probably USCe wont be threats this year. Pretty much down to Georgia improving and taking over or Tennessee having a surprise season to knock UF off the top over there...which is pretty sad/.

He wanted to commit a week after signing day and ended up falling in love with Michigan. He's probably going to go back up there before making his final decision before April is up.
