Apparently he is playing DT and doing really well. I think he will play DE for LSU but nice to know we have options if the depth at DE allows him to move to DT if we end up having a need there.

Every recruiting site is sucking off Shaq White hard. Will get 5 star bump by atleast 2 sites IMO

Yeah. I'm guessing he can play either position. It will probably come down to where we need him the most.

I think Brockers came in 2 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier though. At only 235 Herron would have to add some serious weight to pull this off...but it can be done. And I have a feeling hes going to be a stud at either position

He looks alot bigger than that, just saying...I'd like to know an actual weight, cause it looks like he's going to be a monster...him and Locature could very well be monsters in the middle..

Yea you really never know the real weights until they get to campus. Lacouture is definitely one I'd like to see in the middle. Already 270 (I think ). This class is exciting.

Amazing how much a difference 2 months have made on my feelings toward the future of the DT position.

With all the indication that Beckwith is committing to us today (I believe KB will play DE for us), I could definitely see Herron becoming the next Michael Brockers for us.

I have always thought Herron was gonna be a DT for us.

I like the idea of that. Like the OP said, apparently, he's been turning heads playing inside at the Army practices.

It references White having really good practices in the same article.

That is what he was talking about.

Herron looks like he gained about 15 pounds since summer. Good to see it didnt slow him down

The offensive side of the article also praises some LSU guys.
