effect me. When I think about it rationally, that is completely stupid. Do I wish we had signed every top ten player in the state? Of course, I do. Davis flips for whatever reason after being a "sure lock." What kind of character does that show? Supposedly his coach hates the Tigers, but who knows? Collins decides that he wants Bama while his nut case mother has a small tantrum over his girl friend and liar Nick Saban. Somehow or other, I think we may be better off without them, talent notwithstanding.

I am beginning to hate recruiting and the "hat switch" drama at the all-star games and signings. Some of these kids will have the biggest day ever in their life today and may turn out to be nothing. That's sort of sad, but we turn them into prima donnas and wonder why this crap happens.

I think we have solid class from what I see, but I know as much about them as you do. Translate that to very little. Solid coaching at LSU will work wonders. Translate that to Crowton versus Kragthorpe --- I assume.

On January 8th we had the BEST coach in the nation, the coach of the year. On January 10th we have a fool. The truth is that he is probably neither, and I refuse to believe that the insanity, criticisms, and venom that flows on to this board doesn't effect the recruits, and more importantly, their parents.

We are complaining about losing the top three in-state kids, and that's what they are, kids. I remember a time when we couldn't get to the top third of the talent. Notre Dame and Michigan robbed us blind, and Bama took a fair share also.

We seem to have at least a modicum of talent for next year, and I hope we have a fit for the loss of players who have left, but even though I was so pissed after losing to Bama, I still think Miles can right the ship.

Here's something to consider. Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan. I read about our "orphan" program every day with the posts of a diehard few who rarely see good in anything, anywhere, or anytime when it comes to LSU football..

I think you are right, but I am not exactly sure. I'll defer to you, I did look it up after your post. It's one of those bisexual words that has a way of looking like it's going both ways.
