2. Jeremy Liggins
3. Denzell Devall
4. Lorenzo Phillips
5. Vadal Alexander
6. Landon Collins
Ive heard we wont take a DT in this class

I would replace Winston with Alford. But can't argue with the rest of it.

Alford has not attended a single FB camp all summer, while Winston has attended many. It's ib iOS which one is looking more at FB.
I'd replace devall with a DT.

I was thinking replace Granier with Devall, and finish with 23, not including a DT. I just dont think Nick James is worth it

Profile, Brown for Phillips and I'm hoping we have a winner. I don't see Phillips switching. Nick James is falling like a stone on this board.

ISWYDT , and I couldn't believe people were saying that. We won't accept a QB till Winston picks on the 3rd. After that the dominos begin to fall.

I'll be interested to see if Winston moves it back if Kiel doesn't decide. It's seemed that he is waiting for Kiel to make his move before he decides

Two guys on tidefans that claim to know Winston. Again I said claims but one swears he is MLB bound, he knows he is MLB bound. The other claims and quite angrily that everyone is going to feel horrible when he commits to Bama and all of us have been wanting Keil eventhough that is based on the danger of MLB. If MLB wasn't in the equation Bama would have taken Winston and I hear Lambert and called it a day and never bothered with Keil. Don't know how true any of it is if either of them know anything. LSU would probably be safest with Liggins and Alford and you still have Mettenberger for what 3/4 yrs. Speculation on my part is Winston picks Bama/FSU likely signs with MLB and Keil to Indiana with

Mettenberger has 3 years of eligibility to burn with Randall and Rivers as freshmen waiting for their time. LSU could afford to take a gamble in this situation. I wouldn't be too upset if LSU signs Alford/Winston and they take the MLB route with a guy like Liggins on board.
I wouldn't count on Devall being a part of this class unless we are switching to a 3-4 D. It's down to A&M and Bama.
Seems like Phillips doesn't want to have anything to do with LA anymore. His choice...

Bamafan, Bill King on 247 radio was saying that distance has become a big factor in Kiel's decision. That's why OU backed off and took Trevor Knight instead. Hoosier U isn't in the same ballpark when compared to a football program like Bama, but it looks as though the home school may win out on this one.

ThanK yall for the info and this is only Internet chatter but I am starting to hear granted I am sure biased reports that Winston will likely commit to Bama. I am the first to admit I was in the Keil camp simply because of the MLB for Winston, but after the elite 11 performances I think Winston is the better qb and don't know if it is even close. In my very limited knowledge of qb I figured they were two very equal qb with different skill sets but Winston give our offense a dimension we haven't had at qb tha I can ever remember. If Keil goes to Indiana big deal but seeing Winston an elite instate talent in a FSU or LSU uniform would just make me sick. Some of what yall are saying makes sense. Rumor is Keil got word of Wimston (from the horses mouth) that Winston is indeed going to Bama and he will likely choose a different set of schools to look at and Indiana may not be one of them. Again all of this is internet chatter but one of you mentioned Michigan and unless we look at the same board maybe this has legs. Speculation on my part is Winston gave Keil chance to anounce in July then he will pick on the third whether Keil has announced or not but Winston said he has known and it was a heart decision. If he knows now why wait till the third unless he is giving Keil his chance to announce in July like Keil said he would do. I dont know though guess I will find out soon enough.

Gunner to IU. Winston to MLB. Bama would love his commitment to get another Recruiting Championship t-shirt.
I personally wouldnt be upset if we didn't take any QBs this year. We'll get a few great ones next year, and will be solid at the position for a while.
Though, I wouldnt mind having a 275 lb QB, just to see how that plays out....
