I never doubted we would get a quality qb in this class.

If we want 2 quarterbacks in this class we were running low on quality options. I'm very happy to have Rivers in the fold.

If Rivers is from AL why did he not have offers from Alabama or Auburn

Not sure, but neither did his older brother. Auburn got Kiehl Frazier earlier, and Alabama seems well-situated at QB, so maybe it's a numbers thing. Also, Stephen's dad, a Mississippi State alum, coaches his team; maybe some animosity there? Who knows for sure? I'm just glad we got him!
