24/7 is showing Franklin with offers from bama, Michigan, ole miss, tenn... and a few others.

I've heard he's a grade risk as a lot of Hattiesburg high kids are but what am I missing here ?

pretty sure he wants to be at LSU

not sure what the holdup from LSU is at this point....maybe grades? Otherwise, it seems like a no brainer.

I have no knowledge but from what I've read around here in other threads about Franklin is grades are the issue.

Wait so having the best RB in college football the last 2 years wasn't good enough. What about an LSU RB has been drafted the last 7 years

coaching staff needs time to access all potential rbs on their radar. Better to be thorough. They know what they are doing.

If LSU offers he commits, even if he commits very low chance he signs (grades), commitment will be used to negatively recruit against us with other RBs

Teams that aren't the leader have the luxury to "offer" and if things work out in the classrooon say they were there for him the whole time. I doubt any of these schools are pushing for a commitment

This is pretty much how I've taken him not getting an offer. LSU has to play their cards right this year on RB. We can't miss on a good RB.

Just hired a new RB coach who happens to be one of the top recruiters in the country, one with relationships with high school coaches and prospects all over the country that we previously didn't have on our radar as LSU fans. Let it play out

Not a good comeback. He's about to get drafted in the top 5 in the NFL draft. Also mentioned a RB from LSU went the last 7 years in the draft

If it was that simple, Cam Akers would be in purple and gold right now.

It's not just that simple, but that will be a huge factor for us. Everyone wants to be the next _____.
Chaisson the next key, every DB the next PP7/TM7, and so on... Its a big deal for these kids to see a track record

Akers decided on FSU during Jimbos in home while we were playing footsie with Lane Kiffin.
We have an established OC now, and one that runs a very RB friendly offense.

Between Canada's scheme, the numbers Guice can put up, and Tommie Robinson on the trail, we are going to pull a big time RB or two this class. Probably someone that would be a huge surprise to us right now

The talent level this year at Running Back is glaringly bad. Watching the highlights Fabian is no worse and no better than the 4 above him.

Unfortunately we will have to wait another year before we get one of the best in the nation out of Destrehan.
