Obviously needs to physically mature, but has a lot of things to love. Quick release, live arm, accurate and sound. His competitiveness and work ethic should make him special! Can't wait to see him develop

Thanks for this man! Brennan looks fricking awesome for a high school quarterback.

At the risk of getting my hopes up over a QB prospect again, I have a feeling LSU may have hit the jackpot with this kid. I love his accuracy and release. Time will tell, I guess.

I like what I see in Mond. What I mean by that is, I like that he's going to A&M. Same ol' same ol'.

Lol right?! No way he should be a 5*. I just don't see it. Watched him several times during the regular season too, and I mean he's an excellent athlete...but imo, not a 5* QB. Oh well. Guess we'll see

You can't teach Football IQ. He has it. You can teach strength and power. Tommy M will see to it! He'll start, IMO, in 2018 - unless Lowell stays 100% healthy and out performs Brennan in 2018. 2017 starts with Etling, by a nose, the. L Scott takes over after game 2

Love the quick release, he puts the ball on the WR in a hurry.
Just needs to gain several baby Herman Johnsons.

What I like the most about him is the fact that he knows the position and what it takes to be successful at such a young age. That's what is going to seperate him

Thanks for the links. The title is a little misleading though.

Looks great, but his mechanics in the backfield prior to throwing reminds me of Uncle Rico

Do offenses even use dig routes anymore? They were playing a lot of 1-deep safety right there.

My thoughts:
Looks real small out there. Needs to get bigger, or he's going to get hurt. He will have time to do this.
Nice zip on the ball, and he puts it where it needs to be.
There were a couple of plays there where he was locked into the long receiver by design, and those two throws were ill advised. The CB's were not fooled at all by the pump fake to the shallow receiver. I think that has more to do with a bad play/good coverage though.
Follows through on his fakes and play actions. Doesn't half-arse it.
My favorite thing about him: watch what he does after the play. He's like a robot. The instant the whistle blows he's looking at the sideline for the next play. He does this even after a botched handoff when he takes a pretty good lick. That's a sign of great composure and the ability to handle pressure/conflict.

quote:So will start a RS freshman by game 2, then bench him the following season for another RS freshman? Yeah that doesn't make any sense.
