My friend, I call this the LSU bump

Cousin, remember we had this same conversation about the LSU bump and Chark the last time ESPN's rankings were updated?

Well ESPN now loves LSU... I wish they would make up their mind with us.

I hope all this mess with Tony's sister gets cleared up. I have a feeling if she goes somewhere else, we may never see him at LSU

I hope it does too, I would be disappointed if he didn't end up here.

Will Clapp still criminally underrated

That was what stood out to me the most. Big fan of clapp here. It's like they haven't seem him at all since his first evaluation.

Will Clapp is defiantly the dark horse in this class... He has the potential to be All-American 1st team.

Ed Paris is a Louisiana boy too. Texas was just borrowing him for a bit.

I'm thinking if she doesn't get cleared, LSU gets her to take it in September to qualify...

It's interesting to me how they update the list at least 3 times in the offseason. The players aren't even playing games ESPN is basing there performance of 40's and camps were the players are basically doing 7 on 7. Wait till they get pads on again till they start ranking them from the end of last football season

To preface, Scout, Rivals, and 247 all also updated their ratings multiple times during the offseason, so it isn't just ESPN that is. Also, they only rerank the players they got to see at camps or practices during the offseason for the most part. There is alot more to a prospect than what one can see on tape, and seeing a player in person helps differentiate that player from a certain player of near equal caliber if they both have been seen by the same analyst. The vast amount of what goes into ranking the players comes from what they do in pads, but the tiny nuances that separate players and the amount players change in the offseason in the several months between one season and another is definitely means for updating the rankings multiple times before the season starts.
