And his career managing a modest portfolio would be underway...

Why are we still talking about this kid? Let him rot in obscurity in that texas hell hole.

Exactly. They will be smashed by Notre Dame in the opening game. Texas does not have a quarterback and they have a bad defense. They will win 5 games this year and be begging the Houston coach to come to Austin.

Funny how the clearinghouse put this kid in their express lane

This was a different case, so while yes he spurned us, I have met him personally and he was extremely nice. I do not wish ill-will on anyone that is trying to further their education at a pretty damn good school (we are a great school in some areas, bad LA politics are killing us as a whole).

I know just from lurking/posting for what time I have you not only know your stuff, but are in the know Tbird, but I personally with who is running the NCAA never for once put any stock in one university getting anything better than LSU will get.

Do I think he made the wrong choice, absolutely, not even just because im an LSU fan/student. But I also see how when you factor in family, state, and money, I understand why the decision was made. His coaches Howard and Buckley were shady, all I will say.

Like others, just wish he made the decision sooner, and also I think Strong has done this before and did this with Erick, which is chicken$*%t, but its the recruiting game of modern time.

Yea, isn't this the kid that was telling Miles he was solid and coming right up to NSD and then signed with Texas knowing the whole time he was going to Texas? And isn't this the second kid that Charlie Strong has told him and his parents to not let LSU and Miles know he is not coming so that Texas can continue to recruit other kids at his position because nobody except Strong, him and his parents know he is going to Texas? And so that Miles will not stay on him as hard because he keeps saying he is all LSU? If this is that kid and that family then no sympathy here.

Looks like everyone here was foolish for gloating when we thought he didn't qualify

I still think Texas loses. This is the same Texas team that lost 24-0 to freaking Iowa State last year. I hear Swoopes will be yalls starter. ND will win.

Texas is completely and totally irrevelant at this point. They aren't a factor nationally, or the Big 12 this year.
