We have a shot, but we will have to make up alot of ground to catch Bama.

Then for the love of God, I hope he signs with Bama.....tired of seeing LSU trying to desperately persuade recruits to come that truly have little or no interest in actually signing with LSU.

Save the scholarship for next year, we currently have 27 great kids, ALL of which definitively want to be a part of this program and play for LSU.

Dude, he's a high school kid.

After this weekend we might be his leader. Calm the hell down

Doesn't matter VT, I've heard that excuse all too many times. I realize that he is a HS kid, wants to pimp as many universities as he can and enjoy the ride while it last.......still don't like it and much prefer kids that evaluate programs earlier in the process, make their decisions and want to be a Tiger from that point on with no reservations.

Exactly! I'd rather have sold out Tigers than Saban's mercenaries.

Well he couldn't really do that because schools showed more interest later in the process. Hard to evaluate programs early on if you don't have offers.

Does Saban pay for the time he spends in your head? Same question to FTT.

You two clearly don't know how this works. People like Herron, Neal, Dodd, Jackson, don't grow up loving LSU like fans do. You have to recruit them. Other schools recruit them. Its a competition, just like a football game, except its year round, and the season just resets, it never ends. Sit back and enjoy it, or shut the frick up, but there really is no place for that here.

So you don't want any recruits who switch to LSU at the last minute? I'm too lazy/busy to create a list of all the past LSU greats whom you'd be discarding, but it's a long list.

People like you who think that our team should only consist of those who grew up wearing P&G are the 2nd most irritating types on this board (after the ranters who use the Recruiting Board to bash LesMiles). This is the RECRUITING Board and RECRUITING is the name of the process. Maybe you don't understand what that word means.

ETA: it means to attempt to persuade an athlete to attend your school who would not otherwise attend.

Dude then stop following recruiting. I've never heard someone whine like you in just one topic. How about lets recruit just kids from Louisiana that bleed purple & gold and struggle to go 6-6 every year? That sound good to you?

This kid was ready to commit to FSU two weeks ago until his parents calmed him down and let him think about it more. He's just a very impressionable kid and we still have our visit this weekend which is good news that Saban couldn't fully close the door

We should have dropped Sam Montgomery since he didn't commit until Signing Day.

We could literally have a 100 page thread doing this just off the top of our heads.

That was the point I was making. Just look at all the kids over the past 10 years we have recruited from out of state and how much of an impact they had.

Nothing against the kid but I don't understand why we are going after another wr at this point.

Oh yea, I agree. This wouldn't be nearly as entertaining if it was called the "Commitment Board"

ETA
O66, they are thinking secondary with Jackson

Can play WR or DB, and judging by how much we recently turned up the heat on him, I would say DB as a backup plan for Willis

This, and he supposedly runs a 4.38 forty.
