I find this board quite informative. I just can't believe y'all haven't self patrolled this unabashed bullshite of "love this kid", "special" and over top panties creamin man love for some kids who has just said "LSU" as a school he wants to attend.
So according to you we shouldn't praise a kid who goes to LSU. WTF?
Not only that but the kid is a 5 star talent and is considered the top player at his position, so that would be considered pretty "special".
Once again go frick yourself and go back to the fricking rant bitch.

No. You praise his ability and character if you want. Stop acting like you've had dinner with him. You want him to watch your children. You think he's just amazing. Because more than likely, one screw up and he's in the dog house the majority of the board.
The little I've read is he is a quality young man. But saying "I love this kid" and walking around with a hard on is just BS. You love him because he has athletic ability and truth, that's about the only reason.

I don't understand your' logic at all. So we shouldn't praise someone because of the fear that he might mess up someday? What? That doesn't make sense. So basically if someone would cure AIDS tomorrow and then in three weeks get arrested for DUI all of the praise for curing AIDS should be taken back? And I'm in no way comparing a kids athletic ability to finding a cure for AIDS. Just trying to understand your' strange logic.

My logic is this: You don't really love the kid. Stop saying you do. You love the kid's ability, character and pledge to LSU. When you're winning, you're in. When you're down, you're out. It's the mantra of sports and the reason why tons of athletes suffer away from the game or not living up to expectations.
It just absolutely irritates me when people throw up false support of "love" then run them down 2 years later when they don't perform, get in trouble, etc.
ETA: I'm sorry this thread had to be the victim of this argument.

Like personal love? No. That's a little too much to say the least. I think your' misinterpreting this thread a good bit.

I agree to an extent, but they sometimes deserve what they get. Hill deserves to be called a dumbass for punching someone in a bar fight, he shouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. That's on him. Now a situation like Russel Shepard who did everything right and was a great ambassador but didn't put up crazy numbers like people expected, doesn't deserve to be torn down because you know he's out their trying his hardest to succeed and help LSU.

You must be really dense. No one is actually walking around with a "hard on", or anything of the sort when talking about these top athletes. The Internet and this board in particular, is full of facetious sarcasm. You're apparently to stupid to recognize it.

I'm sorry. I didn't recognize all the Jr. Geniuses running around this particular section of the Internet. Let me apologize.

You're making no sense. There is no absolutes in life. Ever....
I love my wife to death. This is a fact. If I catch her with someone else's dong in her, well...I don't love her so much anymore.
Understand the analogy? Or should I break out the crayons and draw it out for you?

I do. You have no concept of love.

Apology not excepted. You're an embarrassment to intelligence.

Hurry up and fire back
Furthermore, if you couldn't make yourself look any dumber, you're talking about stuff that has yet to even happen, with people you have no clue of. Just go away.
I'm gonna RA anyway and hopefully someone will do it for me.

I think this is the wrong thread and most likely the wrong board, take a look at the Hardeman decommitment thread. Most recruiting fans admire and are impressed with how these kids handle themselves and what type of character is revealed just as much as their athletic ability and how good they are at football...Brandon Harris is a good example.

Stop trying to bring facts and educate the man. He doesn't want that and will never see that, even if he looks for it and is staring him in the face.

Fwiw, everybody still loves Russell Shephard. He may not have lived up to the expectations, but the love was still there. He's a Tiger forever.
