Does anyone think his commitment could be in jeopardy with Houston having a great season and Tom Herman being a candidate for a lot of other jobs?

Will his former high school coach still be there?

Are we still after him, it's been real quiet, I know he has taking a couple visits to Texas am.

If Herman leaves and takes his HS coach with him, he will open up his recruitment. That's what I gathered yesterday after a series of phone calls. LSU has maintained some contact, albeit not much.

This is what it comes down to, not whether Herman stays or leaves. Corby Meekins, their TE coach, is the guy to look at, and I would assume that any new Houston coach would want to keep him on staff just for that connection alone

His Brother is still on the team regardless.

true true, it also stands to reason that if Herman takes Meekins with him to his next job, wherever that turns out to be would be Oliver's most likely destination.

IMO the coaches have honed in on Lawrence, Gary, Manuel, Blacklock etc and moved on from Oliver.

a better question for Jimmie is what the heck is going on with Stepfon Taylor's recruitment? Dude is a beast but his recruitment was been really quiet. He'd make a really great OL if not DT.

Good to see you posting again ! ... difference between all our opinion and random tipsters and a guy who is doing work. Thanks for the update.

No he is all U of H. Corby Meekins was his former head coach at Westfield and is at U of H at the TE/ FB coach. He is the one that go Oliver to commit. If Meekins leaves then yes. If Meekins is there then Ed is all U of H. We will have to set our sights on Gary, Lawrence and Manuel.

BDP and Raymond will be in Htown tomorrow.
Don't know if Ed is on their visit list but I'd hope so.

Would love to land this Olivier you speak of, along with that DL from Neville. That would give us Lawrence Olivier.
