Jesus this has been gone over repeatedly. He isn't a draft risk, didn't play baseball last year, and isn't this year. He is a football player. Some of you just want to find something to be negative about.

MLB loves right handers with limited game experience that throw 91 MPH fastballs.

Not sure what you're talking about.

Even ones with 85 mph fastballs that don't want to play baseball?

I was being 100% sarcastic, but I thought he had a low 90s fastball?

Or are you talking about you?

This is very true...only after 3 years, 2 National Championships, and 1 Heisman trophy with LSU

no I knew you weren't serious. But reports I have seen said he was in the mid 80s. The ole miss faithful are even using it as a reason why he doesn't have a strong arm.

Eta...I couldn't throw 80 at my age if I threw out a car window on the interstate without pulling something.

And now he's tweeting out Hookem along with pics of Texas logos. This kid is not to be closely followed haha.

Because you have two good prospects competing against each other and who ever comes out of it on top puts LSU in a better position. Only 2 CBs can play but you get 5 to use in situations and build depth.

I would rather save a spot and not take 2 elite QB's in the same class.

We need help at QB right now. LSU isn't in a position to turn away someone like Haskins. Few teams are.

ThT is absolutely correct. Anything can happen QB is the issue and we need options for the future.

Haskins was tweeting about playing with Saivion Smith at LSU. It was probably some All Star game or else an attention-whore move.

Said Smith about that: “We talked about playing with each other at the next level, but LSU wasn’t mentioned.”

On his highlight film his high school offense looks more dynamic than LSU's

"10 Yard Fight" is more dynamic than LSU's offense.
