I'll RA if someone starts a spring game commitment watch thread who is gonna keep up with sheas twitter and such. If enough of us RA it might get stickied and maybe, just maybe, there won't be like 4 diff threads in the event of someone else announcing. I'd do it but I'm already working on my first hangover of the weekend.

Which other DL are in town for the spring game, Williams, Prevot, Beckwith???

According to Scout.com, other high-profile recruits expected to be on hand Saturday will include Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite wide receiver Eldridge Massington (6-3, 205), Sugar Land (Texas) Dulles cornerback Maurice Smith (5-11, 180) and defensive end Torrodney Prevot (6-4, 205) of Houston Alief Taylor. Loranger athlete prospect Jeryl Brazil (5-9, 180), LSU’s first 2013 commitment, is also expected to attend.
From Lawson:

“LSU is the only place I’m going to,” Lawson said. “I’m glad I did it today, got it off my chest, and now I can focus on school.”

“I really want to see if I’m committing to the right school if I would choose LSU,” Lawson said. “This will be a good chance to see if the coaches are pushing the players on the field and how the players respond.
“Since I’ve only played defense for a short time, I know that I have a lot to learn with my technique and I want to see how Coach (Brick) Haley coaches his guys on the D-line. He has proven that he can get guys to the league (NFL) and I’m anxious to see him in action.”

What each set of Tigers and all of his other suitors see in the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder is a prospect with a ton of untapped potential.
Lawson started his sophomore year and half of his junior season protecting the blindside of his quarterback at left tackle before Denham Springs head coach Dru Nettles flipped him over to the other side of the ball full-time halfway through his junior campaign. He responded favorably to the move and finished the 2011 season with 77 tackles and five sacks.
Thanks Duckie!

Should be the theme of this recruiting class. We are going after Tigers through and through.

It's Friday night. Most of the young fellas are out having fun. They'll be here in the morning.
This is a 6'4" 275 pound guy that can run all day. He was just starting to blow up recruiting wise. He already had LSU & Auburn offers. USC, Oregon and the other SEC teams were calling his school.
