Normally I root for recruits to go to a madrasa in Pakistan over Bama, but I'll make an exception for Scarborough, we need him there

On Rivals, we have a higher pt avg than bammer, yet somehow, they are ranked ahead of us. No bias there. Yeah, my 3.9 gpa is 3rd behind your 2nd place gpa of 3.75- WTF? We get a little bonus for having the higher avg, but they get a lot more bonus for having higher ranked players.

No, guys. The average number of stars is not meaningful. The players are rated according to points, not stars. Number of stars is just the place where they draw arbitrary lines. So, if LSU gets 20 4 stars that are barely 4 stars, and Bama gets one high three star and 19 high four stars, Bama will have the highest ranked class, and we'll have the highest average stars.

With Rivals, you get points for having an average star rating above 3.0--(Avg - 3.00)*100. It's just that having higher ranked players overwhelms this.

Each position has a top 5, top 10, top 20, etc list that gives extra bonus points. Alabama somehow, someway has many more players that appear on those lists than does LSU.

Per SECRB: Scarborough and Foster are half brothers. His expected announcement to join the tide has been delayed and he said it's because of Fosters swap.

Soooooo..... The Fournette sweepstakes begin.

This has finally been debunked. I knew it was too convenient to be true. However, Scarbrough did name Georgia his leader for now. But a kid from Tuscaloosa, with two years until he signs, isn't likely to leave home. But stranger things have happened.

Actually Auburn is the best place for this physical freak to end up. He will be like Willis was at Old Miss, a freakish athlete on a sub-par, mid-tier team. The West will be LSU or Bama for the next several years, the less freaks Bama gets, the better for LSU.

Why would a 5-star TE go to Bama, they don't even have a TE position, they use them as H-backs.

have you heard Saban's new "jack back" position pitch?
