LSU is looking for a QB. Collins has no experience. If Nuss gets hurt could be a major issue (look at FSU now).

BK will look for a QB. Plus it doesn’t hurt to have someone push Nuss in the Spring.

Pay attention and you might learn something.

You pay attention and learn something. Gabriel isn’t transferring to get into a qb competition. He’s not leaving a starter job to potentially be a backup

So scared he'll most likely be the QB of an SEC team with worse talent than the one he is leaving.

I guess OU told him to move on so they can develop Arnold. Him playing for Lebby makes sense. Third year in the system. Lebby doesn't have to teach his system to a new QB. Smoother transition for both coach and player.

Maybe you should pay attention. Just because LSU may take a QB doesn't mean every QB in the portal has relevance.

And if they do take a QB with one year of eligibility left, it will require a promise of a starting spot, which I don't see happening with Gabriel. He's a JAG.

Cam Ward? Maybe.

Regarding portal QBs, LSU is going to be very specific in what they are looking for.

Believe it or not, Dillion Gabriel came very close to actually transferring to LSU when he first left UCF. Denbrock really liked him, and his dual threat nature.

However, LSU decided to take some guy named Jayden Daniels as Gabriel elected to transfer to OU.

I think that ship has sailed on Gabriel now, but there was interest. From what I understand is Moore will be one they get involved with. Moore is not coming in expecting to start anywhere. He even said that when he entered the portal.

I do not think Kelly is gonna guarantee a starting job to anyone with Nuss still here who knows the system in his sleep and has great upside.

We shall see though.

Something like USC, UCLA, or Oregon seems more likely

If it weren’t for LSU leading for Underwood a month away from his commitment, Aidan Chiles out of Oregon St would be the QB I target.

that's why the majority of these "takes" are frickin stupid.

Guys like Dante Moore are not coming to LSU to hang out while Nuss does his thing.

We'll probably grab a QB in the portal but it's not gonna be a premier guy because anyone that started last year isn't interested in coming here to play backup.

Some players that are solid college players, but don't have an NFL future are looking for an NIL payday. That's what happened with Spencer Sanders at Ole Miss.

I think that's more what LSU will be looking at, unless they can land a Cam Ward type player.
