Haven't heard his name called and I've watched the entire game. Not even a casual mention from the announcers.

He played a good bit. They didn't mention too many defensive players all gamelong.

You didn't hear the announcers call his name. He was pretty active early on, flying around forcing runs to the inside to Phillips.
He covers a lot of ground, very similar to how Debo looked in the Senior Bowl.

Gay officially had one tackle, but he was near the ball a lot.

The fact that he was a team captain should tell you all you need to know. He had an incredible week at practice.
The game gives you some credibility but most of the damage is done during the week. Having an all world game can actually help you out. But having both is what it takes to sky rocket through rankings.
