The guy played LSU. If someone wants to play out of state, that is fine, but this whole family is bad news. Let him go anywhere we don't need him.

We dodged two bullets with him and Speedy

Except Speedy is actually a pretty good player. Willis is not. They're both obviously terrible human beings and I take pride in Les tending to sign players that aren't trash.

After watching Willis' senior year film I didn't think he was particularly good anyway. Looks like I was right.

Talent?

No we didn't dodge a bullet because Willis is or is not talented. Which jury is still out on anyway.

We dodged one because he's obviously not the type of guy you want in a locker room.

Les seems to recruit players with class. This guy does not qualify.

Make no mistake, we/LSU would have taken him if he hadn't surprised everybody (including Frank Wilson).

Now after that...

Homer: Staff woulda straightened him out

Reality: Would not have made it past first year. Would have been worse with his friends nearby is my guess.

Can we stop with this nonsense?

Let's try and pretend to remember Ryan Perrilloux and Jordan Jefferson

Those guys were more of the exception than the rule though

They sign 20 something kids a year plus walk ons, and for the most part a large percentage of them seem to be good kids

A large percentage of every recruiting class for every school are good kids. We are no different. We take questionable kids just as much as anyone else and still do. How about Trey LMFAO? How about us playing around with the idea of having Chad Kelly at QB?

Muschamp wouldn't have done shite. Easy to say that he'd kick him off the team when he doesn't have to follow up on it. And like someone said above me, Willis(had he come here) would have already been kicked off the team. Woulda had more problems here with his friends closer to him.

He is a good child, planning on going to college once his football career is over.

I live in Algiers by Karr and know coaches and teachers who know these kids forever, the word was Speedy and Willis were prima donnas. We still recruited the shite out of them though but Alexander was the one the coaches loved and were really pulling for to make it in college. FWIW they all said that if Speedy or Willis were not pampered they would be serious problems. Needless to say nobody has anything good to say about Landon Collins here but unless it's brought up he is never really mentioned. I don't like talking about 19-21 year olds and I won't get into specifics about shite they have pulled but it sounds like these three are real gems.

How fricked can Willis' attitude be for an outgoing coach to call him out specifically? Im not sure Ive ever heard this. And this is a coach who refused to call out Urban Meyer about the disaster that he inherited.

What makes a guy run up and hit an opposing player at the sideline? What kind of mentality is this? I wonder how many players have been ejected from a game that they didnt play in and went on to a successful career?

I agree

I don't know about Perriloux, but Jefferson didn't have any problems coming out of high school. He also didn't get into trouble til his senior year. He was a kid with a 3.0 GPA and came from a pretty good family.

Miles did recruit Brazil and he didn't last a full year. He and Willis are like two peas in a pod. All coaches pick up some of these guys.

He already had these very same problems in HS so it's not that big of a shock.

Noil is a tad better than pretty good.

Do you think Miles would not have signed both?
