This NIL stuff is much like a restaurant's grand opening. People are excited at first to experience it and are likely to spend amounts of money they normally wouldn't. If the food is out of this world, people will continue to go. If it's just decent or doesn't meet expectations, people will sour on it quickly. Water always finds it's level. This stuff will work itself out.

This is totally false
Bill Embody and other guys really connected on paysites have said LSU will pay the top guys what they are asking and are creating ways to keep the upperclassmen paid their market value

That’s ridiculous. It was one game(his first game) against a top 10 team and they lost by 2. The collapse was bad but every coach has had games like those. Not to mention he was only really serving in interim capacity. He might not end up being a good coach but drawing conclusions from 1 game is always a horrible idea

I don't know about easily but I do think they may well have won a close game, in part because of Kelly's experience but also because Kelly still being HC for that game may have meant Freeman was the DC. Though in truth, Kyle Hamilton opting not to play and rest for the draft may have been the one, single biggest factor that could have swung the outcome.
And it's also perhaps worth bearing in mind that as well as all the other distractions around Freeman at the time of the game (trying to assemble his first staff, etc.) his DC in that game is now the DL coach at Michigan.
ND's new DC is a guy with years of HC and DC experience in CFB and whose last game as a coach was the Super Bowl. I suspect he'll be an upgrade on the Interim DC at the Fiesta Bowl.

LOL, he only sucks to you because he's not on our staff. He's a known recruiting juggernaut. We just need to be better. It's okay. Stop worrying about other institutions and what they have going on.
