He's a JUCO. LSU expected him to be an immediate impact guy and he's not. LSU doesn't take JUCO guys unless they think they can contribute immediately.
To me I think they just don't require his services yet. Dural has done nothing the times he's in and Boone is already a senior with good blocking and the best 3rd option we have. All Boone does is catch touchdowns considering he had a third of Mett's TDs last year and two in the two catches he had at UGA.
You never know how good a player can be before you put him out there. Hopefully we can get a 24pt lead going into the 4th so we can see Jennings with Leslie, Dural, Diarse, and Spears.

What ever happened to the water boy at MGCCC who had proof that Quille was considering LSU again??

I don't think Leslie panned out like LSU wanted either and he might be gone after this year.
Leslie has been a big disappointment. Not being able to enroll until fall really got him behind the curve, especially physically. He showed up as a bean pole and has been behind ever since. He needs to put on 15-20 pounds of muscle and hope Landry/Beckham both go pro to have a chance at some playing time.

Leslie will be a key player in next year's offense after Landry & Beckham depart for the NFL.
Don't write him off yet.

I don't understand these guys, 6'4 4.4 in the 40? Just lob passes up to the guy all game (not really but you get what I'm saying). We will definitely see him against Furman in the second half. The first string will be out at the half with a 42-6 lead.

I agree man. After seeing the overhaul Cam did with this offense I feel we are gonna be just as good if not better next year. Esp if we land Fournette!

LOL, well he ain't going to So Cal. Looks like we got him on the hook!
I wouldn't be so sure about that. With a Louisiana native as our head coach (at least for now) and little to no depth at WR, we can offer him immediate playing time. Several other reasons he might not want to stay in Louisiana have already been mentioned.

D'haquille won't pass up the chance to learn under Cam Cameron for a couple of years--LSU lock!
Looking at Dez Bryant's frustrating first couple of years should tell D'haquille not to be in too big of a hurry to jump to NFL.
Waiting until he is fully ready is the best course to the NFL, and learning from Cameron is his best bet.

wouldnt want to see us start courting D'haquille and spook Dupre or Noil. reeling him in may not be worth it in the long run

All these guys comin in are young. It's one thing playin HS ball in small stadiums and another thing playin in front of 100,000 crowds in tough, hostile SEC enviroments. They will experience growin pains like previous LSU receivers. Even Landry and Beckham went through it with drops last season. So if they can get an experienced receiver like Williams that will take away some of the sting if these kids struggle. Go for it.
