de-Committed from UGA today...I'm assuming that he still has no interest in LSU? or is LSU in play?

ETA: JMO, Saban senses the fence going back up in Louisiana, so he hires another guy (Sam Petitto) with Louisiana ties...

Bama lock! Zero interest in LSU.

Yep, it's just another strategic ploy by Saban to keep ties in Louisiana. After the failed attempt at Rashard Lawrence, he made another bold move by hiring Petitto. The 2018 class has a DT named Ishmael Sopsher who was all state as a freshmen. Only bad thing is that he runs with the Amite and Kentwood gang

Tigerbait. No worries here.

I think LSU is in play, but Alabama is the massive favorite now that they hired Pettito from Georgia and likely will end up with both Josh Perry and Shyheim Carter

Lsu should have made a run after him. Has great relationships with a lot of athletes on the Northshore area. This area has a lot of good players over the next 3-4 years like usual

Carter and smith are big losses by this staff. Not saying we don't have enough talent just needed to keep them from Bama

Well good luck with that. The more they keep winning the more we will keep losing to them. It's all about damage control at this point, keep it to a minimum. Winning this year will cure a lot of that.

No.
Really, no.

I know players like Devonta are studs but its hard to get upset over losing out on a DB when we haul a top 5 secondary class without blinking every year. Losing out on a QB or a position that we don't recruit as well and consistent hurts a lot worse.
