Caleb Roddy has committed, Tyre Golmond led the state in rushing as a freshman in 5a last year, and now huge Oline recruit Justin Henderson has moved back from IMG academy in Florida

He started there as a sophomore and picked up an offer from UCF last season. 6'7" 300 pounder who can really move well.

I'm definitely going to check out a game when I go home this fall. It's amazing what Nettles has done there since I graduated.

Trying to figure out what Denham Springs football has done. Certainly a team with that type of talent should be an early season favorite to win state.

They'll be okay, most likely going 7-3 or 8-2 and lose in the first or second round of playoffs

My last season was with Gill, and the next spring Nettles came in. New weight room, uniforms and everything; I was so pissed.

Zachary will be the team to beat in that district. Denham could take another step by getting to at least the state quarterfinals.

I graduated from central high but live in denham now and I will be attending a few games at denham just to see what the hype is. For a 3 star not even top 500 player to get an opening invite he must be special

I played with you then. You were probably a year ahead of me, though.

I knew he just got his first offer (from Arizona State) a little over a month ago but I didn't realize he led 5A in rushing last year.

I need to make it out to some games this Fall. Amazing what Coach Nettles is doing out there. Is that hype about the Henderson kid, Kyle? I'm hearing he's got younger brother (hard to believe there's been 4 that size!) whose bigger than all of them at that age as well. Hearing anything on him?

I coached them all

Justin is probably the best. Huge and can move. John was the biggest and just graduated. He got burned out on football and stopped playing

The youngest one isn't a ball player. He tried to come out as a 6th grader but it wasn't for him

Yeah Torez Kinchen can really throw, has great size, but we will see if he has the kind of year to put him on the radar anywhere. He is more of a play action drop back passer (IMO) and sometimes struggles with the offensive scheme they are running. Other times he looks just fine though

That's kind of what I was thinking. Zachary appears to big the big boy on the block. Other than Zachary, what is Scotlandville looking like this year?
