He will be the equivalent of a "redshirt freshman" if he signs!
And, by the way, he has no obligation to do so....he can choose to go to OU or Bama or some other "less competitive" school for wide-receiver playing time.
Seems loyal to his earlier commitment to LSU, and loyal to his home state!

As an LSU fan, I am stoked about Benton finally getting qualified. Could be another Dez Bryant type of receiver.
