I remember a guy named Kwon Alexander that tore his knee either before or right at the start of his senior year, and had to miss it, and yet LSU still gave him a schloarship offer?? I wonder what happen to that kid...LMAO

Well that clears up EVERYTHING

if he wasnt committed to LSU i dont think LSU has to honor that offer. I personally hope they do. But that is the chance you take when you go into football season uncommitted. Good kid with tons of talent. i hope everything works out for him and wish him a speedy recovery

LSU doesn't have to honor it, but probably will. Even if he was committed LSU could pull his offer.

I think we will honor it. We might take another DT depending on how good of a prospect wants to join. If it's a big time guy, we'll make room.

we have good depth right now at his position and i think hes definitely good enough to give a spot and redshirt him next year

eta: he will likely be recovered by the beginning of next season but no need to rush it

Correct. And that's sadly what these kids who are ditching state pride to follow the little leprachaun don't understand. I'd be willing to bet Miles WOULD sign Godchaux, the other guy wouldn't.

Sorry admins, what was I thinking? Is that too critical of our Alabama brethren? I know we should be more hospitable in inviting Coach Saban into our borders to sample our fine young athletes w/o so much of a peep of protest or pointing out Alabama's shortcomings.

All I wanted was a status; not a bunch of trolls!

Sucks about his ACL.

I bet we still sign him if we wants to play for us.

exactly, look at RSJ

tore his near last year, texas pulled his scholly and LSU and A&M didn't, he choose A&M over us and looks to be one of the best upcoming receivers.

Just to clarify-Davon is and ALWAYS will be a Tiger at heart. For those saying that he dislikes Coach Miles is a blatant lie. And Bama has ABSOLUTELY no chance at Davon. So all you so called know-it-alls that thinks the kid will dislikes Coach Miles needs to STFU.

Texas didn't pull his scholly because of his knee

Exactly, like I told everyone previously in another post, he is an LSU lock, was going to commit December 28th. Does not want to go to Bama. Period.

Sucks about is ACL and LCL, but if LSU is willing he will be a tiger on the 28th. Bottom line. Now it is up to LSU if he is still commitable.

The crazy thing is he hurt his leg the first game of the season and has actually played in two other games after that. So I guess he was just playing dealing with the pain... Anthony
