What was the scoup on these two? I think Alford was thought to get drafted in MLB
Don't know much about Sams but he is the backup qb at k state.

I'm close with a player on K-states team and he claims Sams is never in attendance for any team activities and always in the coaches office.

A guy that lives down the street from my parents' house has a son that coaches for K-State. He's in charge of recruiting the Southeast area, and I'm sure his dad has given him some good intel living in LA.
Sams was a great player in HS (had some disciplinary issues), but was a hell of a player.

Alford's HS coach was hired by Ellis Johnson. He's USM's offensive coordinator now

He was picked in the 3rd or 4th round I think due to sign-ability issues - he just wanted to play football.
Alford's mom also got arrested at the USM game last week lulz

I live in the same town and went to Daniel Sams first high school. Which was Slidell High School i played football at the time on varisty he played on our freshman team. The guy is a great athlete. I will give you the reason he went to a different high school across town. He told our head he wanted to play both ways(QB and S)if not im going to salmen high school(cross town). I was in the coaches office when he said that. the guy has talent but he definitely is not someone you would want in your locker room. As a QB he has one favorite receiver that he only looks to but he is always thinking run. He is a gun who thinks he can do it all by his self.SO, thank you les for not giving him a look.

Is Daniel Sams related to BJ Sams who played at McNeese ST then Baltimore in the nfl?

All the Sams on the northshore are related. I beleive Daniel is one of the nephews. Another nephew from mandeville went to sps and claimed Daniel as a first cousin.
