So, yesterday, DD said that Stewart has never been an LSU fan. Today he writes:
Do you think the kid or his mom sent this correction in to make this 3* look better than DD portrayed?

DD buddies up with a few kids' coaches/dads each year and pimps the shite out of them on his website saying how great they are and how LSU needs to offer because he is so great and would crawl from his town to Baton Rouge to play.
He did it once for this scrub LB at West Monroe who ended up walking on at LSU and being like 9th team deep snapper.

The kid was pretty highly recruited. He (like a bunch of other kids in LA this year) was just a numbers victim. The best thing to do is be happy for the kid and wish him the best.

No animosity towards the kid, just found it odd that DD would use up this much space on LSU recruiting site for A&M commitment.

Well, there's not exactly a ton of LSU news to report at this point... and once again, critiquing Dandy Don is about as useless as spanking a 7-year old for coloring outside the lines... but it's good to get a little publicity for the Louisiana kids that go other places as well.

Well, for one thing the kid is from Byrd High not Captain Shreve as Dandy originally reported. He is a good player who just doesn't quite add up with the number issues at LSU. Will he make a good college player? Probably so. But LSU is always looking for the higher impact guys since we are only going to take a couple of guys a year at each spot. This year he falls behind Mingo and a couple of others. You'd like to see every in state player want to come and get the opportunity to play at LSU, but it can't happen.

DD bleeds purple and gold, and louisiana high school for that matter. yeah, he makes some mistakes, but if someone else can produce a better, free product, then get to do'n it!
