I think given our current QB situation that we need to offer this kid right now!!

At this point he might line up against LSU under Mullen - and if he beats LSU consistently we'll never hear the end of it

Good morning Mr. Prescott,
Glad your son did well and I hope enjoys living in Starkville (Indian for trailer park)!

We can always count on Tinsley to show up if anyone dare say something positive about Prescott.

He struggled at the LSU camp. He'd have to have a huge senior year for the coaching staff to offer.

Not to argue with you, cause you may know more than I do, but all reports out of the camp were that he performed really well.Scout even had an article about how he was the surprise of the camp and really opened some eyes (in a good way). Heck, I just want a good QB in purple and gold, if it is Prescott, then great, if not, then great, just give me somebody. High hopes for Rivers

DUDE, kid is committed to Mississippi State, and in an article on Wednesday when all of the LSU rumors on here were swirling he was stated as saying the LSU has not even been in contact with him in MONTHS, and he is also quoted as saying that he plans on being Loyal to Mississippi State b/c Coach Mullen was Loyal to him throughout the recruiting process.
FWIW he is a WAAAAYYY better fit in Coach Mullen's spread offense than he would be in LSUs

Scout also recently bumped him up to a 3* as well, he must be doing something right.

Dawg, I shared in another thread yesterday, that LSU had made contact again last week. Good new for you is that he's not feeling the love from the tiger nation...fwiw...I have also said that I fully believe that the nah sayers will be disappointed that LSU didn't jump on him.

He must be straight up lieing to the MSU scout guy then because this was the exact words from DAK from Wednesday. He said that Dak nor his coaches had heard a word from LSU since everything went down with Zack Lee.

We can fit four QBs in our trailer park.

I know you State guys (especially NIH) aren't dumb enough to think he's solidly a Dawg just yet.

State has been talking to him since early this year, he's not going to come running to LSU with one call. They'll need to convince him he's not just a warm body.

I don't think would take much convincing considering the circumstances. It's very appealing for any QB wishing to sign this year.

You really think we will just call him once... Fobbs committed to A&M about the the same time last year and we turned him on NSD.... it can be done and if we offer odds are not in State's favor.

Like I said, if Miles and co. can convince him that he's just not a warm body then you have a good shot. LSU has not really recruited him at all...State has been after him since February, loyalty is a big deal with these kids.
Prescott is a perfect fit for the State spread and is pretty much guranteed being broken in as a RS freshmen in situational way as a runnining QB. Russell/Prescott will be nice.
