Has anyone see the Covington High School quarterback play?

6'3" 205. Very mobile and strong accurate passer. Very good athlete. He has broken many CHS passing records. Holds offer from Houston Baptist.

Good HS QB, lot of talent on that team too (glad Brumfield is a senior lol). Best of luck to him there, hope they win it all this year.

Pretty solid commit to Houston Baptist. I think Josh is closer to 215.

I have followed Covington football for quite some time. This year's team is one of the best I can recall, except for the kicking game. Alfaro has really impressed this year. I think he can and will do better than Houston Baptist. While I think it's just rumor, I have heard more than once in the stands that Alabama has taken notice. That's quite a leap and highly improbable, but I think the kid can play at a higher level.

My son is a freshman at Northshore and I’m going to the game tonight. Hopefully we can make a game of it.

He is pretty solid imo. At some point soon, bigger schools are going to be on him.

Last night against Northshore, Alfaro had 2 passing touchdowns, one 56 yds in the air. He also ran for one TD and a 2pt conversion. He also had a 55 yd run. The QB broke the all time record for CHS career TD passes. The RB Brumfield had over 200 yds rushing. Both are division 1 players.

Alabama (not LSU) is looking at the Brumfield kid. It’s ashamed because he is from Orgeron’s back yard and can’t get a look (actually, he has been shite on by Orgeron). He loved LSU but everyone has a point where they are tired of being shite on. He went to Tuscaloosa two weeks ago. Don’t be surprised if he is back there in two weeks.

Watched his film. Not sure what there is not to like. Should be getting a look by our staff.

Curry and joiner are better. Plus, next years RB’s are sick.

I have seen Brumfield for years. Solid player but he isn’t good enough for LSU.
