It's really sad! At one time, I enjoyed following recruiting. It was an opportunity to follow football year round and have an idea what your teams' roster would look like in the future. Now, I can hardly invest any emotion in recruiting due to the lack of character that abounds today.
That lack of character goes beyond just the players too. It pertains to coaches, parents, girlfriends, and analysts. The whole thing wreaks of lies and dishonesty. The word commitment means NOTHING and it's sad. I actually feel sorry for Les and this fanbase.
With that said......welcome aboard class of 2012! And for those of you not a part of this class.....YOU'RE TIGERBAIT!

I can't say that I fully disagree, but come on, man. These are high school kids that have a LOT of pressure put on them to make decisions early. Also, given the fact that chumps like us actually follow this shite so religiously makes the whole matter even more of a cluster frick for them.
Those who don't sign ARE tigerbait, but don't come down on them for making a very difficult decision.

Craig Loston, Freak Johnson, Jarrett Fobbs, Corey Thompson, Deion Jones, and Lorezo Phillips are "tiger bait?"

Let's just say when you give a kid a gun, don't expect good things to happen...
This board, pay sites, ESPNU, etc is the gun and this is what you get from kids (and their hangers on) that don't have character...

Read again Stagg......I said "those who aren't a part of this class".
Also, I never said that I like players flip-flopping to LSU. I don't like any of that crap. My point is, it is happening more and more and it sucks. A commitment should have substance.
You say they are high school kids and I agree. They are old enough to display character and honesty. Will you not demand it of your children when they are that age?? Things happen and I understand that. But, to string people along who have invested time and money on you, then going back on your word is not ok in my book.
But oh well......seems like y'all don't mind. Carry on.

Do we know for certain this TD didn't tell the coaches about his decision?
