I would like to know what Marvin Wilson thinks of the hire. Especially after Strong is out at Texas.

Your right our 2 biggest positions we have struggled with are QB and DT. We use to put multiple DT's in the league we need to get back to that.

We need to take page out of Saban playboy and find away to get Charlie String on this staff.

He can help recruit Wilson and Texas. He could come on a s a special assistant to Arranda. Let him coach LB or DL. We would have him in place for when Arranda decides to leave to take DC role.

I haven't thought about getting Charlie on staff. Do you think he'd be ok with only being a "special assistant"? Man that would be awesome if we can somehow get him.

Spot on put him at DL would be a homerun--great idea.

Unless it's a different kind of buyout than anybody else's, it would only be reduced by the amount of his new job's salary. And usually there's a clause that he make a good faith effort to find another job, so he has an incentive to at least look like he's trying to find work.

I think his buyout is just reduced by the amount of his new salary, not a total loss.
