I haven't heard a lot of positive things about him from people that know him personally but the kid looks very composed in the pocket and accurate with little effort. This guy might be legit.

Do you think the LSU coaching staff does a good job evaluating QB's.
Some of us may have doubts about this, based on their play the last few years & even before that when the Tigers were stuck with Jefferson at the position.

They offered Dak Prescott as a fullback. That should tell you all you need to know.

I watched Cole three times (twice in person and once on TV) this year and I'm just not that impressed with him. I'm by no means a QB guru, just a fan that enjoys the game.

That's not completely true. He was originally offered as a tight end I believe and then later into the year after lsu missed on other qb prospects he was then offered as a qb. By then he had committed to state and decided to honor his commitment.

I was at his game last night against DeLaSalle. Gutsy kid. Played most of the gams on a sprained ankle. Big tall and physical in the style of Jared Lorenzen from Kentucky. He played a good game last night but I don't see him as a top notch SEC QB. Not the answer for us.

yep he will beat us when he is starting for Arkansas...I wish we would offer him and get him in our class...he is def gonna be a need
