Coach Esminger was in Springhill this evening recruting devin white. Is He Devin's primary recruter? Anyone know? Said he would be back up here again soon when I met him today.

Both are listed as his primary recruiters on 247. I think that is Ensminger's territory but obviously Frank is his position coach, so they are tag-teaming him so to speak.

Ensminger is not a 'back up' recruiter. But I would say Wilson is his main guy as that is his position coach.

Better hope not. Ensminger sure is one quiet out of the spot light coach in my opinion. Then again maybe that is just his position on the coaching staff. I loved him as a QB here and it would appear that he has a very high football IQ, but he just seems to fly under the radar.

I wasn't told of it until a few days ago, but one of the LSU coaches was in town shortly after NSD, about a week after Saban's visit. I'd been critical of LSU not having a visit here, especially after Saban had, but it looks like I was wrong. My source didn't know which LSU coach was here earlier. Hope to find out soon from a different source how Coach Ensminger's visit went. I still worry about DW going to 'Bama, but more than one source told he they think that's unlikely.

Dude stole the #1 Tackle in the country IMO out of the jaws of Texas last year plus his brother signed the year before.

Maea Teuhema

Tre'Davious White

Most recruitments seem to use two main guys- the player's position coach and the area recruiter. Obviously Miles and the coordinators help out as necessary.

I understand where you're coming from, but it's possible to be a diehard LSU fan w/o knowing all the various assistants by face and name; that's the case here. Of course it's a different story if Les Miles or Nick Saban shows up.

Steve might not grab headlines, but a week before signing day a couple years back, he convinced Jacory Washington to stand Saban up right before a scheduled OV and come to BR and help recruit Trey L and a couple others.

The only thing that concers me are the rumors of les not coming to town and having a one on one with devin himself. I have talked to supposed devin white family members who say that devin is 100% solid to lsu, but that was a few months back. Just the other night I have talked to someone who supposly knows him and says he is goin to bama. I have talked to devin a few times but it was hard to get a read on where he wants to go , or if he even knows. Either way, it's interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, I sure wish Les would make an appearance, but I guess he's waiting. Last summer I quit asking Devin where he was going as I got the feeling he was saying whatever he thought you wanted him to say. I'm sure he's going to enjoy the attention and the recruiting process and I don't blame him. I think it'll come down to an LSU/Bama battle, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Bama. OTOH, anyone who's spent much time around teens know how their decisions are frequently not final until circumstances make it so.
