And why be buried in a depth chart with other 5*s when that baw can drive 2.5 hours down 55 and be at RBU where he'll get PT his first year?
Come home Cam. You know the deal.
Let's ride...

I hear there is always a wreck that way which makes it about a 10 hour drive

Believe it or not, sometimes people want to distance themselves from home.

This may seem like a bit of a reach but I saw where Cam tweeted (in reference to recruiting) about making his mother happy. I would almost this meant he's choosing something closer to home whether it be ole miss or LSU. I just can't see this kid going to ole miss. All crystal balls have pointed to FSU but I still have hope he will become a Tiger. I'd love to have this kid in P&G but if not someone else will step in and be a beast. I really feel good about the direction of the program. Geaux Tigers !

He won't be buried under either depth chart. Cam Akers would be the highest rated RB on LSU or FSU. He's also similarly talented to Guice.
Guice and Akers will be like Fournette never left.

But FSU has 4 other quality backs that have been waiting for Cook to leave, and they have 2-3 more 4-5 star backs lined up behind him. He might get some carries, but he won't be a feature back until 2018 at FSU or LSU. If god forbid Guice got hurt, he could end up getting a lot of carries. I don't see that happening at FSU next season. Hell, Cook hasn't even declared yet, has he?

FSU 2017 - four 4 star backs (one will be a true freshman), one 3 star back
LSU 2017 - three 4 star backs, two 3 star backs (1 a true freshman)
LSU's top 2 RBs
208 car 1685 yards (8.1 ypc) 17 TDs
164 car 794 yards (4.84 ypc) 10 TDs
FSU's top 2 RBs
123 car 698 yards (5.67 ypc) 9 TDs
44 car 238 yards (5.4 ypc) 1 TD
Just for reference LSU #3, 27 car 210 yards (7.77 ypc)
Akers has WAY more of an uphill climb at LSU, but like Fournette, I doubt it takes him more than a few games to establish himself as the 2nd best back out of both teams combined.

But only 45 minutes on the FSU jet...
