I like. He big and fast! Was really impressed with his lateral movement.

Most importantly... loves to bring the thunder.

Welter could learn a thing or two from this guy on how to hit a blocker, shed and take a good angle to the ball. He looks like a stud.

Good football player, and beast anywhere you put him. Here, he would be MLB, and good against the power running teams. He is a little slow in the open field, but he recognizes so well that he makes it up, and his lateral speed is more important, anyway. His best attribute is his ability to shed blocks, and attacks with authority. He looks much faster towards the end of the highlights, than at the beginning, don't know if its injury, but he looks a little heavy IMO at the beginning. Hope we get him...

I love how well he finds the ball carrier in traffic. Dude has everything you would want in a linebacker.

Love how after every hit he just stands over them...we need that swagger back on defense with a downhill backer

I love this guy. Willis on the line with Garrett as the MLB. That's the nastiness we've been missing on defense right there.

NSD can't get here fast enough

Drool.

Wow, a guy who reads, reacts, gets off blocks and hits with authority instead of just jumping on runner's back and riding him down. I didn't know guys like that still existed.

Can't wait to see him in the P & G.

Damn I agree with all of this. Garrett got that "Minter Mentality". fricks yo shite up. Like a seeking missile the way he jumps into the gaps and sheds a blocker. It's as if he is just reading it way faster then other guys. His lateral movement and reaction time is fast as hell. This is what we have been missing.

A man among boys when it comes to defending the run. Holy shite is is good at that. The ability to shed, the angles taken, the intensity, wrapping up perfectly, the closing speed. He is definitely special.

My negative takeaway though is how few times in the highlight we saw him defend against the pass. The clips that were shown weren't very enticing for him. Hopefully this is something that can be coached up.

BEAST

Dude makes every tackle and makes it look good...He is a MUST for this class and I hope we continue to impress him...I said it once and I will say it again, if he was so impressed with our Spring game just wait until he sees a real game....He will fall in love with LSU even more.

This...kid is a monster...one thing i did notice in the film is nobody wanted to block him at all

IMO - Kid will be the next #11 MLB at LSU...

We could use a solid, form tackling guy on the team next year. He could possible rub off on the other LBs.
