Clarification of comments on Bateman to McNeil TD pass in UA AA game.

I didn't see the game but saw the highlights on espn. They showed the TD pass from Cooper Bateman to Josh McNeil and the commentator says "That's Alabama to LSU right there."
I logged on here and expected to see Josh McNeil IS A TIGER!!!!!!! but nothing. Can someone demystify this for me please? TIA

He's all LSU but likely will not make grades...

Supposedly he wants to commit to LSU but has work to do on grades. He was also seen cheering when KB committed to LSU. May have to go Junior College……………

He could go live with JT Curtis for a few weeks and get a semester's worth of A's. At least that's how the Gumps do it.

There's only 1 JUCO WR, Leslie. Gardner is not a commit and is not going to any college.

I heard he put in for his draft evaluation. That is different from declaring for the draft.
I could be wrong, but that was my understanding of Gardner's status right now.
Also, if he makes the grades he's coming to LSU. That much is also clear.
