No, he thinks he's beast and wants him to come play on the best defensive team in the nation.

They also need to take a good look at ULL commentment Tyren Alexander (LB) of Breaux Bridge. He's a ball hawk.

Thoughts Phillips was 100% UF? Has that changed?

He's a little more open to his options right now.

I'd rather Devall than Phillips if I had to choose. I'd love both if we could get them. That would round out a amazing LB class. Devall could possibly be used in a hybrid role.

Did he tell you he was there to see Phillips? There are other D1 prospects at Patterson that he could have been watching as well.

according to clean he's leaning more towards houston right now, with the other two ptown boys (jaydrick and trevon) going there...

chavis was checking out 3 guys primarily...phillips, lightfoot, and trevon stewart..

IMHO, I been saying Lightfoot might be one of the best kept secrets at LB's in the state, but now coaches are now starting to take notice.

Lightfoot would only be a walk-on and maybe earn a scholarship later on, but there are plenty of LBers still available that I would have ahead of him. Also, it looks like one more LBer will be a part of this class and it comes down to Phillips or Richie Brown if Phillips doesn't come.

Stewart lost his when Sandolph, Raymond and Mills committed
