Just saw on it on the Rant (take it for what it's worth)....per Buddy Songy

Does Ford and/or Pratt redshirt if this happens or are they thrown into the fire as true freshmen?

Thoughts?

I'm not taking the Rant's word on this one. CS would be, IMHO, making a mistake; unless he's scared of pulling a Justin Vincent on us.

I just read the thread. Honestly, it's believable.

I wish him the best. I don't think it will hurt us much and it will probably increase the stock of KW. I'm always happy to see tigers do well in the draft, especially if it isn't to the detriment of our team.

Supposed family issues are whats making him want to go......I think Keiland, TH, RM, Ridely can handle it.

Hmmm. Well, if he goes, good luck to him. Like many others, I'm not too concerned about him leaving, I just think he oughta prove to the NFL that he's more than a one-year-wonder, that's all.

Again, good luck to him and I hope he get's drafted high!

Wouldn't surprise me, just like Coffee I doubt his stock can get any higher. Some guys are just limited by their draft stock, no matter what numbers they put up in CFB.

you have a point not to mention his stock could actually go lower considering that we lose 2 olineman

I know this may be rantarded......but maybe the Saints could pick him up in the mid to late rounds to replace Deuce as our power back?

I think his stock actually would be higher next year if he has a good season. Only so many rbs will go the first day. Plenty of NFL teams have figured out that you can pick up a starting rb in the 3rd round or later, so why reach?

If he does go, no matter what the reason, I do wish him well. He really carried our O at times this year. If he does go, I wouldn't be shock to see Ridley fill his role next year. They have a lot of similarities in style there.

Pratt - probable redshirt
Ford - possible redshirt

Ford is pretty well developed for his age, but unless we have a need for him, I don't think he will play.

Look at the great RB's that we have had that have taken a red shirt year

We have grossly underutilized TH and RM the last two seasons ... I doubt that changes.
