Yep, Baker has really been down since Ron Turpin took over after Howell left for McNeese. Turpin won for 2 years with the left over talent and he underachieved if you ask me. The 2003 and 2004 classes had a lot of talent as did the 2005 class too. Turpin just wasn't a good head coach but a great assistant coach.
